About Us

Luna Fitness Club is a gym that welcomes women and men of all ages, shapes and sizes who want to look good and feel good about themselves!


Joao and Olga grew up in Boston and attended Madison Park High School. Joao attended University of Massachusetts at Amherst and Olga attended Pine Manor College. Both worked in the business world for over ten years.

After the birth of their second child, Olga decided to stay home and pursue a new career in fitness and health to motivate and educate people about the benefits of exercising. Before she became the owner of Luna Fitness Center, Olga taught classes in various local fitness centers and ran boot camps at various corporations. She is certified in Kickboxing, Zumba, Pilates, Spinning and many others. 

After a life-changing event with the sudden death of Joao’s eighteen-year-old niece, Joao decided to change his career to education where he can make a difference by empowering, educating and challenging urban youth to pursue education as a way to better themselves

Joao and Olga are passionate about helping people achieve their goals weather it is education or physical fitness. They are both active and passionate about raising funds to support cancer research and education. They have embraced education and cancer as a cause to support because it has directly impacted their lives. They are the founders of First Generation College & Career Mentoring program which mentors and provides scholarship and school supplies for urban youths attending college. Join our effort by donating funds and time to support our community and cause to make a difference!

Meet Our Instructors

All of our instructors are certified professionals that have the necessary experience to work with you safely and effectively. They are motivated, energetic, friendly and are willing to work with you to accommodate any physical limitations and help push you for higher potentials.  

Adam Koslen

Everything is connected.

Adam Koslen, RYT 200, is excited to share his love of yoga. Join him each Sunday morning at 10:30 AM at Luna Fitness Club. Adam practices yoga to lower stress, improve focus and health. His goal is to inspire, unite and empower students to lead healthy, balanced, fulfilling lives. Adam became certified at Kripalu and also teaches at the Dorchester YMCA.

Andrea Antonucci

You don’t stop dancing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop dancing.

Andrea’s fitness journey has been through many high & lows over the years, but once she discovered Zumba® everything changed.  She finally found the exercise that didn’t feel like a chore and began to look forward to working out every day.  As soon as the music begins every class the stresses of life begin to diminish, if only for 60 minutes.

Andrea truly enjoys teaching Zumba® because she loves to share her love of dance fitness.  Zumba® was the catalyst that reignited her passion for exercise & led her to get certified in other fitness areas.  Andrea’s wish is to guide students on their own fitness journey by encouraging them to let loose, have fun, sweat & to challenge them to reach past their limits!

Catherine D’Vileskis

Fitness is for everyone and should be fun! Try different types of classes to keep yourself engaged and motivated. As a group fitness instructor for over 25 years, I am always learning and trying new techniques and staying current on fitness trends. I enjoy working with all ages and levels and strive to create a welcoming and challenging environment in my classes.

Licensed in Zumba® Fitness since 01/2009, Zumba® Kids, Zumba® Gold, Zumba® Step, Zumba® Toning. Official Zumba® Jammer since 2010 (ZJ is a ZIN Member who specializes in Zumba choreography). CPR and AFAA Group Exercise Certified.

I am a very active person. I love to share my passion for music and dance with others. I am in school for Radiology Technologist and I love helping people. My priority number one in my life is to spend time with family and friends.

Jonathan Bragg

My love of fitness started in 2009 with Zumba when I was a student. In 2010, I got certified to teach Zumba. Over the years, I have expanded my horizons to HIIT style classes. I am very passionate about fitness and am excited to share the experience with you. Can’t wait to see you in class!

Leila Cardoso

My name is Leila Cardoso, and I am originally from Cape Verde. I have three beautiful daughters and I am married. I am a social worker and a Personal Trainer. My vision is to educate, empower, motivate and inspire women to live a healthy lifestyle. Through my journey in life, I have encountered many struggles that led me to many failures that woke up this passion inside me to seek to help myself, to heal and find my purpose in life. During this process of self-empowerment, I discovered that my purpose and self-fulfillment comes from helping others to overcome negative thinking and self-doubt through training and mindfulness.

Leta Tavares

Founder and Director of the Uptown Dance Center since 1983. She has found a new home to teach and cultivate youth to love the art of dance at the Lamberts Fitness Center.

Olga Gomes

Work hard, life is what you make it, enjoy life when you can and be true to yourself. Live life to the fullest and if you try hard enough and put the effort into it, you can do anything.

Certified in Kickboxing, Zumba, Insanity, P90X, Spinning, Pilates, Muscle Conditioning and personal trainer.

Love to come to the gym everyday and work hard and push others. I have three boys and I enjoy spending time with them and go to their sport activities. I like to read, run and most importantly love to be around family and friends.

Sarah Ciampoli

Sarah fell in love with spinning, after taking her first class on a whim. She realized that spin wasn’t just an exhilarating workout but it was an opportunity to motivate others and it launched her path into becoming an instructor. Spinning has the power to change your whole day in just one hour – it’s an instant mood and confidence booster. You will find that Sarah is all about high intensity and good energy. Take a class with Sarah and see just how addicted you get to spin!


Sarah’s go-to fitness classes are Spin and Yoga. Having an active lifestyle is an outlet for Sarah to balance out her busy school and work life. During her free time, she loves any excuse to visit the dog park with her adorable puppy Annie or enjoying a tangy margarita on a sunny afternoon with her fiancé Ryan and friends!

(The club will be closed from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm Mon-Fri for a deep clean to disinfect all equipment.)

Sat – 9:00am – 12:00pm

Sunday – closed for total deep cleaning
